Reply to a Foreign Concerned Bangali - About Bangladesh

Here i am sharing a Reply i posted in a Group at Facebook today.

We keep our army to protect our country to but not to destroy our country.
We are not a child that if we do something wrong then you slap us and tell us not to do it again what army trying to do now. We are all adult we know what is wrong and what is right. We just need someone who can influence us to do the right things, we need a good leader. And we do have some leaders like Hasina ,Kaleda ,Arshad. May be they have done some wrong but they also did so many good things for our country we shouldn’t forget those . May be you want to say Bangladesh is one of the most corrupted country.But look at the history of other county Our country is only 36 year old.Go back and look what was US or Canada when thy were 36 year old . I feel like our country is much better then those situation.See Myanmar our neighbor country, Army is ruling the country.There is no progress. Army is forcing people to do the right things.. and no one is happy there. You just can’t make a good leader in a Year.

What i can feel from your post.. You got a deep trust on Hasina, Khaleda and Arshad. This could be a very usual feelings whoever you are not in Bangladesh.

But to tell you the truth and for the sake of our Countries Development these politicians are the main Blocking issue. Creating 3/4 largest Bridges in several rural areas is not only the good things they did.. They might have done many good things but on the other side there were many scopes for corruption to do. And was corruption involved.

We are lagging behind in Technology, Education system, Job facilities, HighTech Industries and even in Practicing a Good Politics! Sometimes you need to kick some @$$ to move forward for more betterment. Why we people still think to apply for Immigration in abroad? Why we dream to get a high salary job in abroad? Aren't we lagging behind for those corrupted people?

I should request everyone to think again! There could be some silly mistakes done by this government but aren't we expecting a Lot from only a Six months aged Caretaker Government? Did we ever expected that lot from those Past Governments as we are expecting from the Current government? Isn't it our fault? Only price hiking could be an issue that still our current government couldn't stop. But there must be a way and i have faith that they will be able to meet it.

Who were there to protect people who were killed at 22nd November? Was it you? Did Hasina / Khaleda / Nijami / Ershad or anyother politicians could take those liabilities? Who corrupted our POLITICS? Who gave birth to those Corrupted politicians who are now in Jail? You going to claim they are innocent?

The Recent DHAKA university incident was just a very small issue which lead to Curfew. Why? How the students were influenced to do these mess?

I must say there are no Military Rules in Bangladesh at all. But if we start shouting like this and create a misunderstanding between we Bangladeshi people. Then it could be a startup of another Mess in Bangladesh. The image that you are using and the Title which has been using for this Group could damage our Country Image. Obviously it's humiliating to our National Army and other Military forces in front of the World. Where they earned many Respective honors by different activities.

It's our misunderstanding and our fault by kicking ass of our Military. We should give more respect to the person who deserves respect rather wasting time in respecting the Corrupted Politicians. Speak your mind. Then you will find yourself never appreciated those Politicians.

There could be 1/2 bad incident occurred by ARMY. As it occurred by RAB/Police or any other security forces. But that doesn't mean we should kick their @$$ and show dis-respect.

Please feel free to do any criticism on my replies or thoughts..

Are they Journalist? or the Story makers?

Today suddenly i saw a feed from Asia times and got few interesting information that i didn't know even being a Bangladeshi where this Indian person is far more knowledgeable and known to our country's internal affairs. How funny? Are they really true journalists? Or just few of the Story writers who loves to make stories on different issues and amuses people with those false information?


A journalist writing a report on basis of his guess value. May be someone told him a story and thus he believed it and wrote a report and now he claims someone is said to be a member of some other party. Here i am quoting this paragraph they wrote :

"Bangladesh's general election in October 2001 threw up a government that provided a favorable environment for Islamist outfits like HuJI to flourish. A new coalition government led by the Bangladesh Nationalist Party came to power in that election. The ruling coalition includes two Islamic fundamentalist parties, the Jamaat-e-Islami and the Islamic Oikya Jote. Both have openly expressed support to the Taliban and al-Qaeda and there are close links between these parties and HuJI. The Islamic Oikya Jote's chairman, Azizul Huq, is said to be a member of HuJI's advisory council. "

Isn't really funny to believe that Jamaat-e-Islami and Islamic Oikya Jote supported this Terrorists party in Bangladesh? We already have seen how the JMB (Jamaetul Mujahedin Bangladesh) was demolished and they were captured. The so called Bangla Bhai was hanged! We all (Bangladeshi) saw how every Bangladeshi Government banned Harkat-ul-Jihad-al-Islami and their members were caught up to now.

More interestingly i saw a rally picture of another Islamic party in Bangladesh which was titled under the name of Harkat-ul-Jihad at this Indian Blog (blog.wired.com) at one of their recent post titled: "New Terror Haven: Bangladesh"

E.g.: How come we expect someone reporting on USA and using the flag of UK?
OR Someone reporting on Hasina (AL Chairperson) but using the picture of Khaleda (BNP Chairperson)?

Isn't it poor a journalism?

After all at this state of emergency in Bangladesh where there is no way of survival of any extremist or corruption in Bangladesh. And Bangladeshi people are really happy without few of those so called Politicians who are still trying out to find a way for them. How come Indian's news media claims to be "New Terror Heaven: Bangladesh" at this time of AUGUST, 2007? Are they really trying to redirect us from the truth to their fairy tales?

Now see this title "India Blames Islamic Militants for Blasts" at NYTimes. Are there no Islamic Muslim people in India?

India always claims their country as Hindustan! Which means - "the State of Hindu People". Did you see any Islamic country claiming their state as the only Muslim's state? Who does really discriminate? The discrimination over Muslim people in India is extreme and are really intolerable.

See this below quote from the same NYTimes:

A top government official said India was struggling to stop terrorist attacks. “Our country is so big that even if we have the information that something is planned, we do not know where or when,” said Shivraj Patil, India’s home minister.

So how could they(Indian's) try to estimate out of their country while they are already unable to figure out their own issues? Why are trying to increase their range of investigation rather limiting within their own country and prove themselves that they are no more corrupted in this South Asia?

Student Politics in Bangladesh needs to be Banned

What i think is the bad influence of the old corrupted Politics practice made these University Students protesting the current emergency state of Bangladesh. I should request to the authorities to think about Banning the Student Politics in Bangladesh for next few years.

The old fashion Student Politics Practice could be the main seed of facing the corrupted Politicians in future.

There are 3 types of Student in any University or College:

• A type: Career Oriented (focused only in study and career issues)
• B type: Mid-type Student (they needs proper guidance about their career)
• C type: Politics Oriented Students (who always prefer the Politics Involvement rather then Career)

In usual scenario we loosed the fame and name of Dhaka University just for the reason of our Bad Political Practice which was practiced by the C Type students. And sometimes B type students were the ultimate victim of the Fight of C Type Students and Security Forces in different Protests.

From my past experience B type students gets the influence or sometimes forced to support the C Type students. Which makes the ratio of protesting supporters increases than the usual ratio of C type students. Then the conflict seems more strong and bold to different media. Even the media influences in any activities needs to be monitored cause a Public focus is very much influencing for those C type students. Sometimes you will see only to show their face in medias for different protest or awareness program they tries to get into focus by anyway.

According to the current need of our Developing Bangladesh, i don't think Bangladesh needs any more Student Politicians. I think the need of Skilled Practitioners in different Developing sector is more important than doing Politics or think about Politics.

I am thankful to our current state of emergency for taking many good steps as like removal of corrupted Politicians from Bangladesh Politics. But i think it's even time to think of banning Student Politics from all public Universities and even banning the Teachers involvement in Politics.

If a Teacher becomes biased on his/her own beloved politics, then he/she will never could guide his/her Students for a better future without thinking Politics.

There are many reason and logics behind the words i am asking to people think about it. Cause we really in need of Skilled Development Engineers, Architects, Doctors, Scientist, Economist, and even good healthy Politicians for better future.

Lets start welcoming the Ban of Student and Teachers involvement in Politics!

Nice to see your Blog full of interesting topics
Just a simple question… How many 1st Generation Countries really have Student Politics in their Top Ranking Universities?

Can you go back to the history of Dhaka University? What it was and where is it now? Dhaka University was one of the Top Ranked universities Once upon a time! I don’t support that Student Politics which creates Corrupted Students, Session Jam or Faculties to be supporting different parties and Politics involved in Study and Guidance! If this Student Politics is the barrier of our future Leaders then why don’t we stop Student Politics!

At our past we didn’t look for the Leaders by promoting Student Politics! They were built by their spirit! They are not the Output of Student Politics Practice! But i should say that they had that Leadership and that’s how now we can’t forget them and still can’t think without Student Politics.

Leadership doesn’t mean always to Lead a Political Party. It could be running a Business, innovation of something new, Engineering new Technology, innovation of a new Medication, could be even in Leading a big Armed Forces! Do we need Student Politics in Army or Air Force or Navy? Now it sounds funny right?

How could you expect of a Computer Science Student or Math Student involved in Student Politics?

Computer Science could teach you a different Leadership Technique where you will be learning to be Team leads and sometimes Project Manager, and someday may be as a CTO or CEO of a Software Company. Do you think my Political Leadership Knowledge will help me to come up with better Codes? or Quality Software? or Better Requirement Analysis Report ? or some other better Algorithm? or something to get a job in Google or Microsoft?

It’s not that without Student Politics i am not learning any Leadership! Dr. Yunus! Was he a Student Politician? But how did he contribute to the Country? That’s what i should call the Leadership! He leaded us to a Fame and Name of PEACE! We are proud of him! He could be a good leader whenever we want him.

Did you ever thought from Root level? This Student Politics influence is more visible in Universities but did we ever thought the Influence works or starts from the School or College level?

Let me share a valuable reply of one of my School Life Gang star!

I asked - “Hey what are you doing now?”
He replied: “Dosto! Desh bachaite hobe! so Pora Lekha koira ki hobe? Party kori ..Then DU te Politics er power e Dhukum koidin por..Boro neta emnitei Hobo!”

(I don’t know where is he now, last time i met in 2001/2002)

Gang-staring in School and College are just nothing without the bad influence of our Student Politics of Universities! We loose more then 35% students from our total School and College level who motivates them as a Student Politician and becomes the Gangs of Corrupted Politicians!

Lets Stop thinking in the old Corrupted ways!
Lets Say No to Student Politics for sake of OUR Development and lets solve the Session Jam, be more productive and competent to the other Business Companies of the World!
Compete with the 1st Generation Countries in better ways!
